Good luck to the NSPCC Aerobathoners and Gherkin runners!

NSPCC staff and supporters are getting active over the next few days as both the Aerobathon and the Step Change fundraising events take place, to raise money for the Child’s Voice Appeal.

The Step Change Challenge

Hundreds of people will race up the 38 floors of London’s most iconic building, the Gherkin on Sunday, with the aim of raising a £125,000 for the Child’s Voice Appeal in the inaugural Step Change Challenge.

Open for a fee to corporate teams, NSPCC supporters and the public, their efforts will be rewarded with a well-deserved glass of champagne when they reach the top.

Ben Swart is one of sixteen from the high value donors and direct donor marketing teams at Weston House getting involved. “We’ll be charging up over 1000 steps, so I imagine it’s going to be a bit painful. But it’s short pain for great gain, as my team has just hit our target and raised over £3,000 for the Child’s Voice Appeal - we’re really proud of that!” he said.

More staff from Fundraising, Human Resources and other teams will also be taking part.

Aerobathon

The sponsored two-hour aerobic workout will take place from 6-8pm on Monday in over 150 leisure centres across the UK. Thousands of NSPCC supporters, led by qualified instructors aim to raise over £425,000 for the Child’s Voice Appeal!

Read more about the aerobathonon on the NSPCC website and for more information please contact Emma Harvey.
