NSPCC Jaguar Prize Competition launches today

Today, (Monday 19 October), marks the launch of the NSPCC Jaguar Prize Competition, to raise £1 million as part of the NSPCC’s three-year Child’s Voice Appeal.

Entry to the competition costs £125, but anyone who enters could potentially win the very first new Jaguar XJ to roll off the production line. This all-new luxury saloon, worth more than £62,000, is Jaguar's flagship model and has already created a media storm around its launch.

While direct employees and trustees of the NSPCC and Jaguar are excluded from entering, friends and family are free to take part. The more entries we get, the more money we will raise for the Child’s Voice Appeal to raise £50 million for our helplines.

The money raised from this competition will help grow ChildLine so it can answer many more contacts from children by phone, online and text. It will also go toward developing the NSPCC helpline for adults worried about a child.

The competition runs until 25 November and the winner will be announced to the press on 1 December.

So far the Child’s Voice Appeal has raised £19.1million.
