ChildLine is the UK's free, 24-hour helpline for children in distress or danger.
Growing up is difficult and for some children it can be very overwhelming. Luckily, ChildLine is there, offering counselling and support to the kids who need it most.
Every day more than 4,500 kids call ChildLine, and despite the best efforts of 1,400 volunteer counsellors, only 2,500 of those kids get through. The comfort, advice, and security that those children receive makes a world of difference in their lives. But ChildLine needs your help to expand, so that one day every child who calls will have a voice on the other end of the line.
Problems don't always arise during regular office hours; the kids that ChildLine helps depend on their support 24 hours a day. And ChildLine relies on your help to stay open for them.
